The Teen Book Club will meet at 4pm, Dec. 2, in the Southwest Room of the Alpine Public Library. The group will discuss “From the Mixed Up Files of Miss Basil E. Frankweiler,” by E.L. Koingsburg, and explore a theme from “Socrates Cafe,” by Chris Phillips, author and co-founder of The Society of Philosophical Inquiry. New members are always welcome! The library is holding its USED FURNITURE SALE this Thursday, Friday, & Saturday! Thursday & Friday 10 AM - 2 PM & Saturday 9 AM - noon, 203 N. 7th St.
All buyers will have to provide their own tools, manpower, & vehicles/trailers! This fundraiser will benefit the Alpine Public Library and help to pay for equipment and furniture at the new library.

Alpine Public Library’s Halloween Costume Contest was a huge success! We had almost 30 critters, ghouls, and goblins show up for the event! Everyone looked great!
