Chapter Book Story Time will be held every Thursday afternoon at the Alpine Public Library beginning September 17. Chapter one of James and the Giant Peach, by Roald Dahl, will begin at 4:30 and reading will continue until 5:00. For more information, call the library at 837-2621.

All children are invited to play the bookworm game located in the children’s room. Here is how to play:
1. Find the bookworm jar and the apple bulletin board located next to the puppet theater.
2. Close your eyes and pick out a worm.
3. Solve the math problem.
4. Tape the worm to the correct apple.
5. Play again!
The Alpine Public Library will hold a summer reading celebration on Thursday, August 13, at 10:00am. Kids will enjoy a storyteller, a juggler, and a special guest - the reading fairy!
