The Retreat
Join us in a tranquil Hill Country setting for two days that
encourage interest and excellence in Texas non-fiction.
Celebrated authors, recognized experts and industry
veterans pepper our program, delivering a diverse and
engaging look at the craft of non-fiction writing. You’ll
learn the inside tips, get valuable coaching from pros, and
hear war stories from the front line of authorship.
Whether you’re a beginning author or a savvy veteran,
you’ll enjoy the program we’ve put together. The retreat
will bring you new ideas and fresh inspiration, helping
keep your writing career on track.
Who Should Attend
The Texas Non-Fiction Writers’ Retreat 2008 is open to
all writers, but caters to those who craft book-length nonfiction about Texas. The program is designed to appeal to
writers at all experience levels, and to those in a variety of
subject areas. Even writers of fiction will find plenty of
helpful information, and will be forgiven for their choice of
endeavor.
