Thanks for Everything, Liz!

Friday, October 26th, 2007

The Alpine Public Library would like to give their sincere thanks to volunteer and temporary Alpine resident, Liz Hofacket.  She has performed duties ranging from book covering to filling in at the Circulation desk throughout the summer.

Liz will be moving out of the area next week.  Her sunny disposition and willingness to perform any task asked of her will be sorely missed.  We hope that one day Liz will return to Alpine on a permanent basis.

A going away luncheon in honor of Liz was held yesterday at the Alpine Public Library.  Sandwiches, salad and beverages were served.  Liz reminisced about her previous library experiences and described her future plans.  We wish Liz all the best in her future endeavors.

A big “Thank you” is going out to all of you who have responded to the October Question of the Month. It is about how you would like to receive information about the library. For those of you who have not yet responded to the October Question of the Month:

How do you prefer to receive information about the library?

the month is not over yet. Feel free to post a response to this blog entry or visit the library to give your response. The ballot box is next to the front door. We look forward to hearing from all of you!
