Why Haven’t I Heard From You?
Friday, August 3rd, 2007That is actually the title of one of my favorite songs by Reba McEntire. It is about a person trying to contact another person using the telephone. She talks about all the features of the telephone that could help the person contact her. She even checks with the operator to make sure that her phone line isn’t an excuse for not hearing from the other person. Just before the chorus she asks, “Darlin’, honey, what is your excuse? Why haven’t I heard from you?”
By now you are probably wondering what this has to do with the Alpine Public Library. Well, there is an invention that most of our patrons have at their disposal which can facilitate excellent communication with the library. It’s called e-mail.
You are more than welcome to contact the staff of the Alpine Public Library via e-mail. Use this handy tool to do such things as ask reference questions, reserve materials and renew materials. We will do our best to reply to your e-mail within 24 hours.
Here are two useful e-mail addresses:
alpinepl@sbcglobal.net — This is to contact The Director
aplinfo@sbcglobal.net – This is for circulation, reference and general inquiries.
So now, why hasn’t the Alpine Public Library heard from you?
