A BIG THANK YOU TO MARILYN AND MARTIN TERRY !
Marilyn and Martin Terry entertained area school children this week, as an enticement to participate in summer reading activities at the Alpine and Marathon Public Libraries.
Marilyn is President of the Friends of the Alpine Public Library and her husband Martin is a botany professor at SRSU. Martin and Marilyn have been entertaining school children with their stories and songs each spring since their move to Alpine a few years back.
This year’s summer reading and program activities, called “Sail AwayWith Books,” are sponsored by the Texas State Libraries as well as area businesses and dedicated volunteers from each community.
